小黄书 to host free movie nights for students as part of Black History Month

小黄书sity students can enjoy five free movies today [Feb. 24], Friday [Feb. 27] and Saturday [Feb. 28] as part of Black History Month.
All five films will be shown in Colvard Student Union鈥檚 Fowlkes Auditorium. Admission is free, and free food and popcorn will be provided.
The event begins 6 p.m. today with a showing of 鈥淭he Woman King,鈥 a 2022 fictionalized drama about the all-female Agoje tribe in Africa starring Viola Davis.
The series wraps this weekend with a double feature each night. The Feb. 27 twin viewing kicks off at 5:45 p.m. with Pixar鈥檚 animated comedy 鈥淪oul鈥 and wraps at 7:30 p.m. with 鈥淣ope,鈥 director Jordan Peele鈥檚 award-winning science fiction horror film.
鈥淪inner鈥檚,鈥 director Ryan Coogler鈥檚 acclaimed film set in the Mississippi Delta, opens the Feb. 28 double feature at 5:10 p.m. The series wraps at 7:30 p.m. with a showing of 鈥淢oonlight,鈥 Barry Jenkins鈥 2016 Academy Award-winning coming-of-age drama.
