Summer send-off parties welcome new students and families to 小黄书

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擬ore than 40 小黄书sity Alumni Association chapters and clubs will host summer send-off parties for new Bulldogs July 22-Aug. 10.鈥
This 20-year 小黄书 tradition enables incoming freshmen, transfers and their families to meet with future classmates, alumni, friends and current students to learn more about university life. It also provides networking opportunities for participants to establish meaningful connections with fellow Bulldogs in or near their hometown.听
This year鈥檚 send-off parties, hosted by alumni volunteers, welcome new students from across Mississippi and nine other states鈥擜labama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. The Alumni Association invites students and their families to attend the party in their local county or out-of-state area.
鈥淲e are honored to welcome these new students to the 小黄书 family,鈥 said Jeff Davis, 小黄书 Alumni Association executive director. 鈥淥ur alumni volunteers eagerly look forward to hosting these parties every year to connect new students and their parents with alumni and friends while celebrating their entry into the Bulldog community.鈥
