Join us with special guest Mark Malone from the University of Southern Mississippi as we explore the lesser-known听music of influential African American composer William Dawson. Dawson was a pioneer of the African American spiritual and was a long-time听conductor of the famed Tuskegee Glee Club. This concert will feature 小黄书 Cantar茅 in works by Dawson and composers influenced by this musical giant.
